  This company SUCKS! ARS placed a collections account on my credit report that I was never contacted about previously. I called THEM to get it straightened out, because it was an emergency room visit from 4 years ago in a state 12 hours away from where I resided at the time. It was physically impossible for this debt to be mine. I contacted the hospital and discovered they had made a billing error 4 years ago that is just now appearing in collections. John T***** was helpful on my first call to gather information, but on both subsequent calls he hung up on me, one after he started yelling at me and interrupting me. Incredibly rude service when trying to get help resolving an erroneous billing. In fact, when I asked him what actions I can take to clear my name, he said "I'm sorry, we don't have a way for you to not pay your bills." All I want is for someone to help me remove this error! My third call I plead for civility and for him to be more understanding given my situation. I asked him to cease being hostile to me outright. As soon as I made this request, he again hung up on me. I have been working with other agencies and companies to figure out exactly how to clear my name, but John T at ARS has not been nearly as helpful or professional as expected. If you have the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this company, ask to talk to Anne M, she is professional and helpful in resolving issues like this.

  ARS has been a nightmare. I just received a notification that I have an account in collections for a bill that I know nothing about. When I tried to get direction from Liz Taylor she became extremely condescending and rude. Saying things like "you should have paid your insurance company", calling me "honey" numerous times and her eventually hanging up on me after saying "enjoy your bad credit" I have tried to contact a manager to have someone else help me and I keep getting transferred to her. This has been by far one of the worst experiences I have had. In something that is as hard to navigate as insurance billing, it is not very hard for someone like Liz to be helpful, but instead she decided it was her job to reprimand me for not paying a bill (which I never received). All I can do now, is hope that I can get in contact with someone who can actually help me at ARS.
